SOCIAL FOUNDATION HEALTH AND LIFE is a legal non-profit, incorporated as a non-governmental organization, ONG, founded by a group of people motivated by a desire to contribute to social development.
MISSION
Fulfill a social function through comprehensive and personalized care for the elderly, disadvantaged, neglected and in extreme poverty, who do not have any state aid, to improve their quality of life and regain their dignity as human beings.
JUSTIFICATION
In Colombia, a large proportion of the population of the elderly, has no state protection because of insufficient resources or inadequate management of them. The elderly, tend to suffer from depression for various reasons (loneliness, neglect, malnutrition, disability etc.) Finishing as a social misfit, if not suicide.
OBJECTIVES
• Contribute to improve the living conditions of the elderly by providing material assistance such as food, medicines, clothing, and the other who is capable of providing the foundation according to their economic resources• Contribute to improve the quality life of older people, providing psychological support and emotional and spiritual support, through the careful attention offered with companionship· Search for contributions, pledges and donations from various, government agencies or ONGs, individuals and corporations both domestic and international, needed to develop the objects of the foundation· Celebrate all acts, contracts and other operations and transactions authorized by law and the statutes aimed at securing resources to achieve the objectives
RESOURCES
FOUNDATION HEALTH AND SOCIAL LIFE will, fulfill its purpose, with all goods entering from taxes, subsidies, grants and donations that make it freely natural or legal persons, those who come from any activity or operation undertaken in accordance with the law and statutes, and that any title acquired in the future.
HELP REQUESTED
For the realization of this project, the foundation requires the assistance and cooperation of all persons, companies or institutions-hearted and generous, willing to share its assets with those who have nothing, to make their life better.This assistance can be made through contributions in cash or in kind: food, clothing, shoes, medicines, household goods, furniture and fixtures, appliances or any kind of help they can provide. Remember, everything you need to spare or not, someone else needs or needs.All donations made will have the tax benefits established by law, for this, issue the certificate of donation, we are a legally constituted organization.The cash contributions will be handled in a special account in which shall be duly audited so that there is total transparency in their administration. All contributors can obtain information about the fate of their contributions, our doors are open to show our work and use of resources.
